How you'll make an impact
As Gameopedia’s first Marketing Director, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to craft the marketing function from the ground up, shaping it to reflect your vision and creativity. You’ll lead our marketing team in developing innovative strategies that not only drive growth but also strengthen our global brand within the gaming industry.
Collaborating closely with our sales and product teams, you’ll ensure a seamless and impactful brand message that resonates across everything we do. With a special focus on crafting engaging B2B campaigns for the international gaming market, you’ll be at the forefront of enhancing our brand identity and unlocking new commercial opportunities.
This role gives you the chance to truly make your mark, leading a team and playing a pivotal part in Gameopedia’s mission to scale and transform the gaming experience for millions. You’ll help shape our story and leave a lasting legacy in a company that’s set to revolutionise the way people connect with games.
What we expect you to do

- Develop and implement comprehensive B2B marketing strategies to support company growth and strengthen our global brand and position within the international gaming industry.
- Oversee the marketing budget and utilise analytics to ensure efficient use of resources, generating measurable results and optimising campaign effectiveness through relevant KPIs.
- Lead and manage the international marketing team to deliver effective, multi-channel campaigns—focusing on social media, SEO, and digital platforms—to boost brand awareness and customer loyalty.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges, informing strategic decisions and driving continuous improvement in our marketing efforts.
- Collaborate strategically and tactically with internal teams and external partners, including product development, agencies, vendors, and media, to execute strategic marketing initiatives and successful product launches.
What we believe you need to succeed in the role:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in marketing, finance, management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience and track record of success.
- At least 5 years in a marketing leadership role, preferably in the entertainment or tech industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies, preferably in an international context.
- Proven strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate the team, preferably with international teams.
- Proficient in data analysis with the ability to draw actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Experience with outsourcing and fractional marketing
