As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Safety & Environment Engineer - Working Environment with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
What will you be doing?
Responsible for planning and executing working environment activities in projects:
- Perform working environment analysis, assessments, and evaluations (e.g., ergonomics, human factors, chemicals, noise, vibration, biological agents, lighting, indoor/outdoor climate, radiation, psychosocial/organizational conditions, job hazards)
- Prepare and update design engineering documentation and reports
- Implement working environment design requirements in equipment procurement and follow up with suppliers
- Plan and prepare working environment reviews like WEHRA
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in working environment engineering, preferably in Norwegian Oil & Gas or similar industry
- Relevant education at BSc or MSc level within science/engineering
- Detailed knowledge of Norwegian regulations (NORSOK S-002, S-005, S-011, S-012, C-002) and other relevant standards
- Proactive with good communication and cooperation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Preferred location: Trondheim (other locations may be considered)
