Would you like to quickly apply your expertise in some of Norway's most complex and challenging projects?
Risk and Technical Safety Management
We are always looking for smarter solutions to society's challenges. That's why we rely on knowledgeable employees who challenge us with new ideas, perspectives, and knowledge.
COWI is now seeking someone who is curious, engaged, and wants to contribute to socially beneficial solutions. The word digitalization does not scare you, and you believe that modern technology will create new, smarter, and more sustainable solutions in our industry. You love to delve into complex and technical issues, and you possess strong analytical skills. You find it exciting to work alongside others and want to contribute to our generous and inclusive work environment. You cultivate your interests both at work and in your spare time. You are focused on understanding the client's perspectives, seeing it as an opportunity to find good holistic and technical solutions. Do you identify with some of this? We would love to hear from you!
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Ensure that risk, reliability, and maintenance (RAMS) and other safety management are addressed responsibly and professionally according to applicable laws, regulations, and standards in projects.
- Assist with compliance and monitoring of relevant industry standards in functional safety and reliability (NEK EN 50126, IEC 61508, IEC 61511, etc.).
- Assist in establishing and following up RAMS and other safety requirements with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assist in establishing and monitoring project steering documents related to risk management.
- Plan, conduct, and document risk assessments, reliability analyses, and maintenance analyses.
- Assist in dialogue with other involved parties.
Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.
On top of that, you will have:
- Education from a university/college in risk, reliability, and/or maintenance management.
- Knowledge of analytical safety management and the use of analytical risk methods.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, both in Norwegian and English.
- Structured, precise, and independent way of working.
- Good business understanding.
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, client contact, and responsibility for your own projects.
- Analytical skills with a systematic work methodology that contributes to good oversight and clear results in projects.
COWI has customers and projects that may require security clearance at various levels. There may therefore be requirements for security clearance in some projects/positions.
