Team Lead - Transfer Pricing
What does the job involve?
The position will lead the Transfer Pricing team. This team is part of the unit called Audit and Allocation Solutions and have among others the responsibility for intercompany cost allocation. The Transfer Pricing team in AAS has the responsibility to coordinate the transfer pricing documentation process in the Equinor group. In addition, the team updates parts of the transfer pricing document that is common for the whole Equinor group, The team also support subsidiaries outside Norway in their updating process and offer training across the group.
The Transfer Pricing team cooperates closely with the corporate tax functions both in Norway and globally.
The Transfer Pricing team delivers on Equinor’s requirements to comply with documentation regulations of inter-company contracts and the transaction values of the inter-company purchases and sales.
We are in the process of transferring the documentation process to a new reporting platform. The new team lead will be responsible for this transfer which will entail possibilities to influence and suggest improvements.
What will my tasks be?
Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
- Lead the Transfer Pricing team which has responsibility for the co-ordination of transfer pricing documentation process globally in Equinor.
- Work closely with the corporate tax functions both in Norway and globally.
- Work closely with the business to support the updating process and ensure correct uploading of transaction values.
- Engage with stakeholders globally.
- Participate in updating common Transfer Pricing documentation.
- Influence the transfer to a new transfer pricing documentation platform.
- Take part in improvement initiatives and projects.

- Master’s or Bachelor's degree within Tax/Accounting/Finance/Law with 10+ years relevant experience.
- General tax background with specific knowledge about transfer pricing regulations and documentation requirements.
- Team player with good collaboration and consulting skills who is Analytical, proactive, solution oriented with good planning skills.
- IT/SAP architecture understanding, interest, skills, and ability to learn new systems and tools is of advantage.
- Ability to cooperate with stakeholders and operate in a global context and understand local needs and requirements.
- Ability to lead tasks and projects is of advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent Norwegian including good skills in English, both oral and written.
