Technical specialist, 4-stroke engines
For the right applicant with technical and commercial mindset and experience, we offer an interesting position that we believe will expand your skills and competences further. Together with our team you will develop further the local technical service business and customer satisfaction. With continuous customer contact through phone, e-mails, Teams meetings and personal visits, you will play an important role in understanding our customers’ needs and requirements. A part of your responsibility is to identify and develop the products and services needed and, with support from our product centers and global service network, provide customer offers and negotiate new orders accordingly. You will respond to customers with advise to solve ad-hoc issues on board their vessels as well as initiating strategic long term planning of scheduled service with recommended spare parts and potential upgrades. Your tasks will also include updating relevant internal systems for planning and reporting purposes.

We would like you to have these qualifications:
· Good knowledge of operating and servicing marine diesel engines in general and marine 4-stroke engines in particular.
· Experience from technical maritime service operation, perhaps you have a background as a marine engineer or a service technician?
· Good understanding of engine control systems – electronics and automation.
· Technical degree and some years relevant experience.
· Proficient in English, Business level written and spoken (plus Norwegian or another Nordic language).
· Background from a service organization is appreciated.
· Driver’s license, Class B.
