Application Service Manager - SAP

The SAP team is part of Data & Development Platforms in IT. We are responsible for operating, running and continuously develop the company's ERP solution. We are looking for a new person to be part of the team. We have the responsibility for running, maintaining and continuously developing Aker BPs ERP solution, whilst also ensuring the strategic fit of the solution in the system landscape by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The main responsibilities are to plan, schedule and prioritise application maintenance responsibilities and ensure alignment with the project deliveries performed by the SAP team or other parties in- or outside the organization.
Typical work tasks can be:
- Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP applications, including implementation, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain resource requirements internally and from external stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Overseeing SAP project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Skills and qualifications:
- Education - A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field. Relevant experience can compensate for education.
- Proven experience in managing SAP applications, with a strong understanding of SAP modules and functionalities.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- The successful applicant will be given the necessary training to succeed.
- Project management experience is a plus
- Fluent/good abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
