Helly Hansen is looking for an ESG Reporting Manager

Helly Hansen AS is seeking an experienced ESG Reporting Manager to lead our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting and disclosure activities. This role, based in our Oslo headquarters, is a key position within Group Finance and will collaborate closely with various business areas, corporate staff, and the ESG team.

As the ESG Reporting Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's ESG strategy, ensuring compliance with reporting standards, and driving improvements in our sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead ESG Reporting: Oversee the preparation of our annual ESG reports in compliance with CSRD/ESRS and the EU Taxonomy.
• Data Collection and Quality Control: Supervise the annual ESG data collection process, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and consistency of all ESG-related information.
• Internal Controls and Process Improvement: Continuously enhance internal controls to ensure that ESG reporting is accurate, timely, and auditable.
• Advisory on ESG Reporting Practices: Stay ahead of ESG trends and regulatory changes, advising the business on new reporting and disclosure requirements.
• Audit Management: Lead the audit process for ESG reporting to ensure compliance and alignment with industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Sustainability, Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or a related field. A technical/science-based education is a plus.
• Sustainability Experience: Proven experience in the sustainability field, ideally with a mix of consulting and corporate experience in multinational corporations.
• ESG Assurance and Reporting: Experience in auditing sustainability/ESG/financial reports, or working with companies to strengthen their ESG reporting processes and internal controls.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of ESG reporting standards and legal requirements (e.g., CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy) and a keen awareness of industry trends.
• Industry Expertise: Familiarity with key ESG metrics, particularly environmental, and knowledge of sustainability trends in the textile industry.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in preparing ESG reports.
• Data Management Skills: Experience in managing ESG data collection and reporting processes. Preferably experience with ESG software plantforms.
• Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Norwegian (written and spoken).
