Job Description

• Oversee Engineering Contractor(s) to ensure compliance with the scope, budget, and schedule. Provide clarifications and maintain communication as required.

• Contribute to internal project evaluations and documentation.

• Support site selection through civil evaluations, site surveys, ground investigations, and testing.

• Provide input for procurement activities, including site preparation, structural design, long-lead items, and Company Provided Items (CPI).

• Plan and execute civil engineering and construction scopes.

• Coordinate with interfacing disciplines and address interface challenges.

• Drive engineering efficiency within your discipline, ensuring safety in design, cost optimization, and constructability.

• Support construction field engineers and provide technical input, addressing site queries (SQs), non-conformance requests (NCRs), technical queries (TQs), and variation order requests (VORs).

• Handle change proposals and requests for deviations from requirements in TORG, and follow up on life cycle information (LCI).

• Ensure experience transfer from similar projects and utilize the discipline network.

• Plan and execute follow-up activities, including verifications.

 

Qualification Requirements

• MSc or BSc in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience, including: Structural design for onshore projects, site preparation, utilities, blasting, and rock fill , oversight of Civil Engineering Contractors.

• Familiarity with Technical Requirements (TRs) is advantageous.

• General experience in industrial design and construction, substation design, onshore grid, HDD, and/or cable landfall is beneficial but not mandatory.
