We Are Hiring: Field Service Technician / Mechanic

Olvondo Technology is experiencing steady growth, and we are looking for skilled and motivated Field Service Technicians / Mechanics to join our team and support our continued success.

The role includes production work at the factory, as well as on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of our novel reciprocating engines for high-temperature heat pump applications. Flexibility for travel is required.

Our heat pump technology is based on principles similar to medium-speed marine diesel engines. Therefore, experience with medium and/or large size diesel engines, pneumatics/hydraulics and pressure testing is an advantage.

Main tasks:

·       Assembly of heat pumps and the heat pump auxiliary system

·       Installation and commissioning at site

·       Service/repair and start-up at site

·       Assist with technical documentation (e.g., CAD drawings, MRB documentation)

Required qualifications:

·       Strong knowledge of reciprocating engines or rotating machinery.

·       Willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications (Beneficial):

·       Experience as an industrial mechanic.

·       Knowledge of process industry equipment, such as valves, pumps, heat exchangers and piping.

·       Working knowledge of 3D and 2D tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD Plant)

·       Knowledge of automation systems

·       Experience with pressure testing

·       Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems

·       Manual machining experience

·       Welding experience
