Help powering sustainable electric mobility as our next Senior Software Engineer

As our new Senior Software Engineer, you will take a central role in our new data and integration platform, working on both backend systems and user facing systems.

You will be a part of the Tech organization that has the overall responsibility of all charging infrastructure software systems, public cloud platforms and IT systems. We are growing as a team and everyone joining the team will contribute to multiple areas and is expected to be able to work independently and in collaboration with the rest of the team. 

Key responsibilities

• Be a key figure in our software development team.
• Build a deep technical understanding of our app and other user or customer facing systems.
• Take a leading role in all front-end development in Recharge.
• Build and maintain integrations between multiple systems.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks that enhance system capabilities. 
• Contribute to the development of Recharges overall system architecture including our Public Cloud platform 
• Prioritize, in collaboration with the team and the stakeholders, system enhancements and new features based on business impact and feasibility. 
• Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies as needed. 

Success factors

• Higher Education in a relevant field, experience may compensate for a lack of formal education.
• Experience working with modern front-end technologies like React, Angular etc.
• Familiarity with mobile app development is an advantage.
• Experience working with backend development in C#.
• Familiarity with integrations between systems.
• Good understanding of data storage technologies is an advantage.
• Experience with test automation is an advantage.
• Enjoy having end-to-end responsibility and being highly self-driven.
• Experience with Azure is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate efficiently.
• Experience from an international working environment. 
• Excellent English proficiency and one of the Scandinavian languages is preferred.

We believe that the right candidate has a genuine interest in the green shift and is either already driving an EV or is very interested in doing so in the near future. We also think that you have an Engineering background as a software engineer or similar, with experience in both front-end and back-end development.

Place of work: at our HQ in Moss, our office in central Oslo or our office in central Stockholm. Some traveling will be required, primarily within the Nordic region. This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer.
