NOV APL is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our team in Arendal. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of machines, components, and equipment for offshore applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Design structural steel constructions and mechanical components for offshore applications.
• Create detailed 2D engineering drawings, specifying tolerances, fittings, and fasteners.
• Take responsibility for layout designs and ensure effective integration of components.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing designs.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• BSc/MSc in Engineering with 3–5 years of experience in structural steel or machine design for offshore projects.
• Strong skills in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

Desired:

• Familiarity with NavisWorks, Vault, and E3D.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems.
• A multidisciplinary approach to design and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage.
