What Does the Role Involve?
As our QHSE Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of implementing and sustaining QHSE strategies that ensure safety, compliance, and continual improvement across our operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Driving QHSE initiatives, fostering a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
- Managing and maintaining QHSE management systems, certifications, and audits.
- Collaborating with teams to develop and implement risk assessments, safety policies, and training programs.
- Monitoring compliance with legislation, identifying and mitigating risks, and leading incident investigations.
- Supporting global operations, including offshore projects, and promoting best practices across teams.
This role is pivotal to ensuring that Claxton’s operations align with industry standards and exceed stakeholder expectations.
Who Are We Looking For?
We’re searching for a motivated, proactive individual with a strong background in QHSE management, preferably within the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in QHSE or operational roles in oilfield equipment or services.
- Proven expertise in implementing behavioral safety programs and quality improvement strategies.
- Audit experience and a solid understanding of QHSE management systems and legislation.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including influencing, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
- Offshore certification and the ability to travel internationally as required.
- Fluency in both Norwegian and English, ensuring effective communication across local and global teams.
You should be detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced, global organization.
