The Q85 is an all mountain ski for an intermediate to advanced level skier. The Q85 does really well as a carver with the added benefit of having an all mountain shape. The Q85 is built in the traditional Salomon way with a full woodcore, pulse pad for dampening, and total edge reinforcement. The ski has a semi sandwich construction for extra edge hold underfoot.

The Salomon Guardian MNC 13 is a burly binding for both in-bounds and out-of-bounds ripping. This Multi Norm Certified (MNC) accepts alpine boot soles, touring boot soles, and walk to ride (WTR) boot soles. The Hike & Ride switch is located conveniently right behind the heel and can be changed with the flick of a ski pole--allowing you to go from "hike" to "ski" mode without popping off your skis.
