The MM-8 from Mirage provides strong bass performance from a compact design, ideal for home theater and music applications. The compact MDF cabinet has a furniture-grade gloss black finish, achieved with 7 layers of hand-sanded polyurethane. Inside the cabinet is an 8" active anodized cone woofer, as well as a pair of 8" aluminum passive radiators. Each of the drivers has a proprietary Ribbed Elliptical Surround to provide exceptional depth without distortion. The active woofer is powered by a 1200W amplifier to deliver clear, realistic audio. The subwoofer also features a phase control and a variable low pass filter.
