Techem Norway, a leading provider of technical and service solutions for the real estate sector, is looking for a skilled and proactive Accounting/Business Controller to join our team in Oslo. As our company continues to grow, we need a dedicated professional to manage financial operations and support our CFO in Norway.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As our Accounting/Business Controller, you will be a key player in our finance team, taking on a range of operational and financial tasks. You will also become a superuser of Visma Net, leveraging our established support agreement to ensure seamless financial management. Your role will involve handling contract management, invoicing, asset oversight, accounts receivable, and providing crucial support to the CFO with reporting and forecasting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Accounting/Business Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Developing expertise in Visma Net by mastering its functionalities with support from our agreement to optimize financial operations and processes.
- Overseeing contract management and invoicing, including asset tracking, handling leasing agreements, and managing the preparation of month-end closure files and accruals.
- Administering accounts receivable, processing dunning, and managing debt collection efficiently.
- Conducting ongoing bookkeeping and financial control to ensure accurate records and compliance, including updating and maintaining control files.
- Collaborating with warehouse managers to ensure accurate and timely invoicing of goods and services.
- Assist and support our CFO Norway with preparing monthly financial reports following IFRS and managing year-end closing processes under Local GAAP and IFRS.
- Performing liquidity forecasting, assisting with budget preparation, and conducting financial analyses while supporting the CFO with various ad hoc tasks.
- Handling month-end closures, making necessary accruals, and maintaining control files for accurate reporting and auditing.
- Analyzing operational costs, controlling invoices, and providing financial support to various departments to enhance efficiency.
- Managing internal and external queries in the finance inbox, handling invoicing and maintenance of customer contracts.
