Job Description

• Monitor and follow up on subcontractors’ HSE Program and Activity Plan.

• Prepare Emergency Response and Notification Plans and assist in training the emergency response team.

• Participate in and follow up on project audits to ensure adherence to the HSE management system.

• Schedule and conduct HSE inspections at project sites.

• Ensure HSE requirements are incorporated in tenders, bid clarifications, and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

• Follow up on incident reporting from contractors.

• Facilitate risk workshops for fabrication and assembly activities.

• Manage and follow up on Job Risk Assessments and Work Permit processes.

• Capture and facilitate lessons learned throughout the project.

• Support the planning and execution of HSE campaigns with contractors.

• Conduct familiarization meetings before travel to assembly sites, ensuring a good understanding of the scope and HSE risks.

• Record and report HSE statistics, conduct incident and trend analyses.

• Lead or assist in incident investigations as required.

• Provide HSE input for weekly and monthly reports.

 

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (equivalent experience may compensate for formal qualifications).

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in HSE, especially in fabrication, construction, and commissioning in both onshore and offshore settings.

• Detailed knowledge of Norwegian regulatory frameworks related to construction and commissioning work onshore.

• Trained facilitator.

• Investigation lead experience (preferred but not mandatory).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Structured and systematic approach.

• Ability to work independently and within teams.

• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

• High level of integrity.
