Gamle italian beauty: Campagnolo Chorus og Columbus SLX

20+ years old but so little used that it is still on it's first chain, which, see photo, still has some life in it (at that time 0.075 was the limit where you would replace the chain without needing to replace the cassette).

It fits my size (180), but is a bit on the large side (reach is rather long for me; you may recognise the very short stem I put, which is a bit too short now).

Spinn still has spare chains and cassettes for this generation of the Chorus group (8 speed). Campagnolo Chorus is equivalent to Shimano Ultegra.

Last generation steel frame, where Columbus SLX was the best you could get.

There is some little rust on the lower tube. I don't think that it matters, but also don't want to take responsibility. I'd feel kompletely save in the flat Stavanger area, but might not want to challenge it in a downhill race at 70km/h!

I guess it is perfect for indoors on a trainer, or during winter when you don't want to expose your summer bike to the salty streets (so far it was only used in Summer and hardly in the rain!)

Tires and tubes are like new (less than 100km).
