We are now seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Design Tools Team, focusing on the Simulator. The Simulator plays a vital role in testing new product ideas and enhancing system performance, directly impacting our success.

The Design Tools Team at AutoStore

- Collaborates with designers and users to create a best-in-class tools for designing, benchmarking, and selling large-scale robotic systems, with a focus on delivering an excellent user experience.
- Develops models for statistical analysis, continuously improves simulation accuracy, and support the needs of AutoStore's internal research and development.
- Ensures our cloud infrastructure runs smoothly and scales to handle a massive number of simultaneous simulations.
Key Task and Responsibilities:
Specifically, when working with the Simulator you may expect to take on the following task and responsibilities, supported by your team and also other relevant stakeholders in the organization:
- Dive into exciting, multi-disciplinary projects across the R&D department and seamlessly integrate new products into the simulator application.
- Collaborate with internal and external users to create high-quality, user-friendly interfaces for designing, simulating, and selling AutoStore solutions.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure our C# and Blazor apps run smoothly, while continuously adding new features and improvements to keep them up-to-date and efficient.
- Contribute to back-end development by applying your C# and .NET skills to support and strengthen the overall application architecture.
- Learn and contribute to the further development of our infrastructure, using Terraform and GitLab CI.
We’re seeking candidates with:
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- Strong expertise in C# and .NET.
- Ideally, experience with Blazor or ASP.NET MVC.
- Familiarity with other technologies we use, such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Azure Batch, SQL, Babylon.js, Terraform and .NET MAUI.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Effective team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, attention to details, and a strong commitment to seeing tasks through from inception to completion.
- Committed to continuous learning and strong problem-solving abilities.
