The AMO Mechanical Technician efficiently maintains, modifies and repairs equipment / tools mechanically and mobilises equipment/ tools according to operational requirements. This role requires a Mechanical background. Applicants must be resident to Norway supporting Norway Operations.

As an AMO Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Performing mechanical assembly, maintenance, and overhaul on Wireline Intervention equipment
• Working to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices and quality standards incl Lean and S6 methodology
• Loading and unloading of offshore containers and baskets
• Assisting in the enhancement of maintenance processes, documentation, and quality
• Maintaining equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs
• Understanding and knowledge of various industrial sectors such as fishing tools, wellbore intervention and completions
• Complying with HSE policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a high school technical diploma or equivalent qualification in a mechanical field or relevant experience
• Be fluent in Norwegian and English language skills
• Have relevant industry experience (Oilfield, Automotive, Mechanic) with excellent mechanical aptitude
• Be able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
• Be proficient in reading and interpreting maintenance documents, drawings, parts lists and following formal procedures
• Be able to demonstrate basic computer skills
