Fire suppression systems

RAFT suppression is looking for a Project Engineer to contribute to the development, design, and delivery of fire suppression systems for the maritime sector. You will join a collaborative team focused on delivering innovative solutions to an international industry.

About the position

As a Project Engineer at RAFT, you will be responsible for the design and engineering of low-pressure water mist systems and other fire suppression solutions. You will work closely with customers, subcontractors, and colleagues to ensure that our solutions meet high standards for quality, safety, and environmental compliance. This role involves following projects through the design and documentation phases, up to commissioning, with support from dedicated technical personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical design, hydraulics, or related fields

• Experience with technical design and tools such as AutoCAD is preferred

• Experience in the maritime sector is an advantage

• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written
