Head of Strategic Sourcing is responsible for the Strategic Sourcing team within the Sourcing & Supply Department at TOMRA Collection. You will play a crucial part in shaping the team’s direction and ambitions.
To excel as the Head of Strategic Sourcing at TOMRA Collection, you'll need to bring your unique management skills, a talent for supporting high-performing teams, and a results-driven mindset. Your organizational prowess, combined with strong commercial and analytical abilities, will be key to your success.
As a natural relationship builder, you'll thrive in collaborating across various departments and with suppliers from diverse countries and regions. Your ability to foster strong partnerships will be crucial in driving our global sourcing strategy forward.
Your responsibilities will include commercial qualification, establishment, and development of a strategic network of Suppliers and Manufacturing Partners.
To meet TOMRA's high standards for quality, environmental impact, cost optimization, and delivery performance, you'll be proactive in identifying potential improvements and taking action. You'll champion compliance and sustainability, seamlessly integrating these values into our supply chain.
The role will require some international travel.
Qualifications
- University degree in Supply chain, International Business, Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of relevant experience from global contracting and supplier management
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Good knowledge within the field of product development
- Strong communication skills. Fluent in Norwegian and English (written and oral)
