Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Product Owner to join our agile development team. In this role, you will manage the Product Backlog and translate stakeholder requirements into actionable user stories for the Development Team. Your expertise will drive the successful completion of projects within specified timelines.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize the team backlog to streamline program execution while maintaining functional and technical integrity.
• Engage in backlog refinement, planning events, and contribute to product and program vision, roadmap, and content presentations.
• Collaborate with architects, software engineers, and other stakeholders to build, edit, and maintain the team backlog.
• Elaborate user stories just-in-time for implementation, detailing acceptance criteria and tests.
• Validate story completion, acceptance criteria, and definition of Done (DoD) to ensure quality and fitness for use.
• Participate in team demos, iteration retrospectives, and cross-team improvement initiatives.

• Influence: Interacts with and influences colleagues, may oversee others.

Key Interactions

• Internally: Software Developers, Development Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, Product Owners/Managers, Departmental Management.
• Externally: Customers and partners, with supervision from product managers or solution managers.

You are meant for this job if:

• Relevant degree in technology, engineering, product management, design or equivalent business experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a product owner or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Agile development workflow, backlog process, Scrum, and user stories.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Knowledge of product management methods.
