Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a talented Field Service Engineer to join our team in Fornebu, Norway.

In this position, you will provide technical support for our EV Chargers in Norway, delivering superior, professional services on-site. Reporting to the Field Service Manager your hands-on experience and knowledge of customer needs will help you not only to build strong customer relationships but also to actively identify and develop new business opportunities.

What you'll be doing:

• Commission, configure, maintain, and repair complex EV charging equipment.
• On site advocate for ABB E-mobility Services; striving to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction in all transactions and relationships.
• Complete service reports after each visit, professional documented the work performed, parts used, and issues resolved.
• Run diagnostic tests use diagnostic tools to identify problems.
• Harmoniously collaborates with remote technical support teams, spare parts, and key account managers to identify best solutions, create maintenance plans, identify spare parts suggestions, and more.
• Suggesting product and process improvements within the business to enhance operations and customer service.
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards and procedures while working on-site.

What you bring to the table:

• Technical Bachelor degree ( preferable in electronics) with more then 2-year experience in Service.
• Flexibility and adaptability to in varying environments under challenging conditions.
• Work flexible hours, depending on customer needs or urgent issues.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Continuously improve technical knowledge trough training, workshops and self-study.
