Seasonal bus driver May-August in Bergen 

Experience beautiful western Norway while working a varied job as a coach bus driver! If you are a flexible and skilled driver with good communication skills, looking for a summer adventure in beautiful Bergen, we want to hear from you. 

Due to increased demand, we need more bus drivers for tourism related assignments during the high season - from May to August. We guarantee a salary equivalent to a 100% position during the high season, with the possibility to extend the working period if the volume of assignments justifies it.  

What we offer: 

• Board and lodging close to the work place. We offer accommodation within walking distance to the station. The accommodation includes a room with your own private bathroom, toilet and shower. Breakfast and dinner is served every day, and is also included. The accommodation is located only 25 minutes from the city center, with public transport (bus and tram) close to the station and lodging. 

• Guaranteed full-time salary. Possible shift differential pay and overtime in addition. We guarantee a minimum of 154 hours per month which corresponds to a 100 % position, in the period you will be working in season.   

• A varied and flexible job. A workday can consist of several different assignments. The assignments may involve driving cruise passengers from A to B, taking groups of tourists for a city sightseeing - or to a nearby city, and a range of other assignments.

We pay attention to both the small details and the big picture, and therefore our buses, uniforms, work location, accommodation and technological tools are carefully selected.

Qualifications: 

• Valid driver's licence class D 

• Good language skills in English. Norwegian/Scandinavian language is an advantage

• Bus driving experience, preferably from Norway.  

• Ability to exercise good customer service 

• Good communication skills. Being able to communicate with customers, tourist guides and other travellers is an important part of the job.
