Optimizing Internal Control Over Financial Reporting

We are looking for a skilled professional to enhance our clients' internal control frameworks and designs. This role involves understanding processes, identifying risks, and improving controls to meet organizational objectives effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and strengthen client internal control frameworks by evaluating processes, risks, and controls.
• Identify and document gaps or deficiencies in internal controls and collaborate with clients to implement corrective measures.
• Drive improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and performance of internal controls.
• Provide training on ICOFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) to improve understanding and execution of controls within the organization.
• Monitor and implement new regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
   

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in accounting, internal auditing, or a related domain.
• Proven expertise in performing and developing key controls, with knowledge of internal controls and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act being a strong advantage.
• Ability to communicate complex topics effectively to non-specialists in ICOFR.
• Familiarity with digital tools and data analytics for financial reporting and internal control optimization.
• Experience with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools and/or SAP.
• Fluent language skills both in Norwegian and English, both written and oral
• Strong integrity and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through others, build high-performing teams, and develop talent.
• Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills.
