Are you our new Data Hall Technician?

STACK Infrastructure is pleased to be hiring a Data Hall Technician to our Enterprise Colo Site in Oslo. Our technicians are to ensure that the Data Center is run smoothly and efficiently, being responsible for inspection, operation and maintenance of all equipment associated with the Data Center, expected to have a strong technical profile with great fault-findings abilities.

Tasks

• Installation and management of network services and computer rack
• Supporting company activities in developing services and solutions
• Participating in client meetings, presenting solutions and uncovering customer needs
• Support the development, and comply with, Quality Management and Compliance with regard to STACK INFRASTRUCTURE Management Systems
• Prepare surfaces for offer to customers
• Supporting Key Account Manager in technical aspects of all customer dialogue
• Follow up deliveries and installation
• Ensure handover, certification to national and specialist technical standards is achieved/ maintained
• Provide management information upon significant project & routine activities
• Keep up to date with industry developments and make recommendations where necessary
• Work with others to analyze problems & make proposals for resolution
• Updating on technology, products, trends, and market

Job practicalities

• Preferably trade school degree within Electrical or Mechanical education or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with electrical systems in a critical environment
• Proactive customer orientation with clear and strong customer focus
• Good relationship building abilities and a mercantile business understanding
• A sense of detail, yet at the same time have a great overview
• In-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs
• Norwegian and/or English language skills
