NOV Digital Services is a business group within the NOV Energy Products and Services segment, and with our Downhole Broadband Solutions and Real-Time Services we are focusing on drilling automation & optimization by use of downhole data. Our department concentrates primarily on deployment of wired drill pipe (WDP) technology and along-string measurement (ASM) tools in drilling operations. The system allows transmission of real-time, high-density, low-latency data from logging-while-drilling (LWD) tools and from ASM subs. These tools provided temperature, annular/internal pressure, rotation, and vibration data.

Due to increasing demand for our products and services we are need of additional personnel in our operations group to deliver intelligent, smarter and more cost-efficient solutions to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

NOV's Project Manager for Downhole Broadband solutions / Wired Drill Pipe projects

• Single point of contact towards clients and projects, responsible for all deliverables, both technically on day-to-day basis and commercially, including contract negotiations and follow up
• The PM is required to sit in client's offices upon reqest
• Manage offshore operations including personnel and equipment
• Coordinate with support functions onshore
• Act as bridging link between operations, sales and support functions onshore
• Assist sales and business development with new and existing opportunities and presentations of technical papers
• Inform and advice in strategic decision-making processes
• Responsible for QHSE at assigned projects

Required Qualifications:

• A degree in Engineering, Petroleum Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a drilling and well environment.
• Proven expertise in offshore operations, sales, project management, and client management.
• Extensive knowledge of the Norwegian and/or UK offshore industries.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal, is mandatory.
