Do you have a big appetite for mechanical product development?
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer. If you also have experience in plastics design we would be thrilled!
The Mechanical team is part of the vibrant Engineering department working closely with Electronics, the Industrial Design team, Customer Excellence and the Product department. We are responsible to ensure that all mechanical parts have precise documentation and that all mechanical parts are designed to make the best product possible.
We are passionate about developing new products, but also improving the existing ones. At the same time we strive for everyone in the team to work with what they are best at, and at all times give our employees time and space to immerse themselves in the work. We are using the latest tools and systems available to enable us to make the best product out there.
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Work closely and collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop mechanical parts for Easee products, mostly plastic injection moulding.
- Help maintain and improve our current parts and production processes
- Create high quality engineering documentation such as 3D models, 2D drawings and calculations using CAD and simulation tools
- Provide and maintain the Bill of Materials of our products
- Assist other departments by designing test equipment and providing technical expertise
- Prototype using 3D printing and other rapid prototyping technologies

What you need to bring along:
- Skilled in CAD 3D design and 2D documentation
- Appreciation for precise technical documentation
- Proven track record in making and documenting FEA and CFD simulations
- Experience in design of mechatronic products
- Experience in injection moulding design, or willingness to learn
