Job Description

• Produce new documentation and drawings, including Heat Trace layouts, Light and small power layouts, etc.
• Revise and update existing documentation and drawings.
• Prepare work packages for installation.
• Perform calculations for short circuits, heat trace, and lighting.
• Order electrical materials needed for installations.
• Interpret and understand P&IDs and drawings from various disciplines.

 

Qualification Requirements

• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a Technology degree with related trade certificates.
• Work Experience: 5-7 years in offshore-related projects, particularly on the Norwegian shelf.
• Knowledge and Skills:
  • Familiarity with relevant standards, such as PTIL, ATEX, IEC61892, and Norsok.
  • Experience with modifications on offshore installations during operation.
  • Expertise in heat trace and low voltage (LV) installations.
  • Proficiency in engineering systems like Febdok, Pims, ProArc, STID, ProCoSys, Heat Trace calculations, Tag-systems, and Microstation (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Norwegian is a plus.
