Commissioning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commissioning Manager for our Field development projects.

The Commissioning Manager shall be part of the different project teams and secure early phase input to project design in alignment with Operation Readiness and Assurance. Further, the Commissioning Manager shall secure that commissioning activities are timely planned and performed from concept select, through define, execute, handover to operations and Start-up.

Main tasks

• Develop Commissioning and Start-up Philosophy and strategies
• Develop hookup, commissioning and startup plans, including detailed and specific scope, test procedures, and risk management strategies
• Close cooperation with Operations and Operations Readiness and Assurance to secure alignment and common understanding of requirements and deliverables
• Actively contribute to reviews: Early design, constructability, Operations readiness, HAZID, HAZOP etc.
• Secure design according to existing Operations procedures/ safe work, maintainability and operability of the system, define showstoppers and optimize design to reduce downtime
• Performance standards clarifications support
• Responsible for development of systematization (logic) for the commissioning and Start-up schedule
• Defining key schedule constraints and shutdown requirements
• Define relevant resources requirements
• Commissioning and Start-up cost estimate (CAPEX)
• Input to the contract and or call-off for scope according to project execution plan for commissioning defining appropriate assistance to commissioning
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the commissioning process
• Define and align Information Management requirements for Commissioning and Start-up and Operate Phase
• Support Operations during Start-up and performance testing
• Give input to project closeout summary and capture and share main lessons learned

Qualifications

• Extensive experience from Commissioning, Operations and Operations Readiness and Assurance from all project phases within an operator environment
• Relevant experience from both topside and subsea commissioning is preferred
• Relevant experience from tie-back and tie-in projects
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Experience with Completion systems like PIMS CMS used to ensure completion and diligent handover to operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
• Process Engineer or other relevant engineering degree
• Over 10 years relevant experience
• Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English
