About the job:
The consulting department in Mintra is responsible for consulting activities, implementation, project management and technical assistance related to the OCS HR system. This means that you will be customer facing at times and may be required to go to the clients premises while working on project implementation of the payroll system. We have several exciting projects ahead of us and are therefore looking for skilled individuals who ideally have expertise in setting up systems for Payroll and HR. You will be a part of a delivery team that shares expertise to improve customers' processes.
The role will ideally be located in Bergen / Stavanger, however for the right candidate there may be flexibility on location. Occasional travel may also be required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as domain expert in larger and smaller delivery projects
- Understand and document customer requirements and business objectives, working out solution descriptions for project deliveries
- Present training sessions related to the assigned program
- Design and configure system setup and workflows to customers using Mintra Group’s solutions, responsible for customer contact, support and deliver consulting services to national and international customers
- Contribute to continuously improve delivery methodology and services, working collaboratively in cross functional teams
- Test new application releases, document test and results, and work with developers/Products Managers to describe error scenarios
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to customers, review product information including manuals and brochures for domain accuracy
- Participate in BID processes (response to RFI’s, scoping, estimate scope of work)
We`d like you to have:
Experience:
- Proven 2-3 years working experience within Payroll systems (work experience may compensate for lack of formal education/degree)
- Consulting experience is desirable
- Experience and knowledge in Oil & Gas or Maritime industries is desirable
- Well versed in payroll systems, process improvement and workflow
Competence & Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor Degrees related to subject or Computer Science or similar
- Customer-focused mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent presentation skills
- Analytical and strong problem-solving skills
