Are you our new colleague in the Project department?

Wilson is looking for a new Supercargo and/or Marine Engineer that will primarily work for the Project department. The workplace is our office in Bergen. Travelling must be expected.

Main tasks Supercargo

• Calculate and create LSD (lashing, securing, dunnage) plans 
• Stability calculations
• Assist in loading operations (as port captain)
• Dialogue with vessels 
• Participate in pre-loading meetings with clients

Qualifications

• Relevant experience related to maritime operations
• Technical or nautical education

Main tasks Marine Engineer

• Design and drafting of complex loading and discharging plans 
• Analysis of ships and cargos
• Experience in Lifting Analysis
• Contact with captains, clients, class and statutory bodies in the design process

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD degree in Structural design/ Naval Architecture/ Ocean Engineering or similar
• Relevant experience related to maritime operations
• Familiar with relevant design codes and Classification Society Rules
