Are you our next Technical Service Developer?
We are entering a digital-first world, where customers expect to be served in their digital channel of choice, often in real time, throughout their Laerdal journey. In addition, an important part of the business strategy is using digital technologies to change business models and provide new revenue and value-producing opportunities.
The Laerdal Services and Product Information team is responsible for the development and the implementation of Educational and Technical Services and Product Information for all our products and solutions, and we are now looking for a Services Developer to join our team, primarily for Technical Services.
Technical Services is dedicated to ensuring our products and solutions are consistently installed and maintained, guaranteeing that customers always have operational products. You will join us on an innovative journey, leveraging digital technologies to develop and offer new digital services and solutions to our customers. Your responsibilities will include exploring, creating, improving, and maintaining Technical Services content and solutions, as well as training our internal Field Service Engineers and Technicians across our global organization on any new or updated Technical Services.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Technical Services material
- Ensure all services materials are updated and published according to standardized processes
- Align services materials with project timelines and organizational strategies
- Implement organizational preparedness for the delivery of Technical Services
- Plan and conduct training sessions for the global Services teams
- Periodically review and update service materials to ensure continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Biomedical Engineering Qualification or equivalent work experience
- Technical troubleshooting and reverse engineering abilities
- Networking and IT skills in network administration
About you
- Healthcare industry knowledge and understanding of simulation and learning
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal
- Must be comfortable in teaching groups of Service Personnel on new services, products, and solutions
- Skilled in writing repair and maintenance instructions and explaining engineering principles and design
- The ability to work in (or learn how to) other software used for service development
- Knowledge of IoT is desirable
- Experience with virtual worlds like AR, VR or XR is desirable
- Ability to manage relationships with many stakeholders and work in a team environment
