To release full potential and to fuel growth, a new strategy and organization model was implemented in 2024, among others, Central Operations as part of Supply Chain.
For Central Operations the main purpose is to streamline and optimize the supply chain function to be "fit for purpose". The focus will be both on operational day-to-day business as well as the strategic agenda to secure future competitiveness. The Central Operations team will be the key stakeholder to achieve improved supply chain efficiency and drive projects (including factory footprint) and associated action plans to realize ambitious PortCo cost targets.
The Business Development Director role will be responsible for central planning, master data management, project management and to develop technical processes and systems. In addition, the role will offer support in strategic insourcing/outsourcing/M&A projects.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Support the Chief Operation Officer in overall PortCo operations functions.
- Be a change manager, challenge both the commercial and operations functions, to improve overall competitiveness.
- Manage, drive and improve the key performance indicators for operations.
- Secure data driven insights via analytics tools to accelerate the transformation journey in operations.
- Drive the digital agenda in supply chain and optimize tools for demand and supply planning, inventory management and replenishments.
- Initiate, prioritize and run selected supply chain/strategic projects (incl. M&A, footprint and sourcing projects) according to business potential and profitability.
- Optimize "ways of working" between operations and commercial function to secure improved daily operations (S&OP/S&OE) and also promote common "ways of working" across the operations community in Health PortCo
- Lead and motivate the department in the transformation process at a company and individual level.
Experience and qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience from senior supply chain roles, preferably also operational line functions. Relevant education on master's level
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams operationally and at management level
- Experience in leading central planning functions and strategic supply chain projects
- Experience from working with digital value chains, and products sold online and through omni-channels.
- Experience with analytical/planning ERP tools that enables effective demand and supply processes.
- Ability to structure, analyze, visualize and communicate complex information.
- High work capacity, strong analytical, commercial and data-processing skills
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint, MS Projects and Excel
- Excellent English skills, and preferably one Scandinavian language

Place of work: Oslo, but frequent travelling is required (approximately 20-30 days per year)
