Job description
We are looking for a business-oriented and technology-driven accountant to join our company. We are looking for an intellectual capacity and high performer who can contribute to our journey.
As our accountant you will play a key role in our finance department. We are in a growth phase, in all aspects and in every corner of the company. The role involves managing the financial reporting for our operations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and overseeing month-end closing procedures, account reconciliations, and VAT reporting. You will report directly to the Head of Accounting and Tax.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial transactions across multiple countries (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland).
- Oversee month-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and submit VAT reports for all relevant jurisdictions in the Nordic region.
- Support the Head of Accounting and Tax with internal and external financial reports.
- Maintain and update financial systems and contribute to process improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Assist with payroll-related tasks and other finance functions as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on bookkeeping, month-end closing, and VAT reporting.
- Experience in an accounting firm is a plus.
- Relevant education
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly within the Nordic countries.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in English (company language).
- Familiarity with accounting software and system optimization is highly desirable.
- Previous experience with payroll processing is a plus.

Place of work: at our HQ in Moss, office in central Oslo or our office in central Stockholm. Some traveling will be required, primarily within the Nordic region. This role reports to the Head of Accounting & Tax.
