NOV’s Mechanical Engineering Eastern department is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design and development of mechanical solutions for our advanced equipment portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical designs and technical documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure innovation and efficiency in our projects.

Our team provides high-quality mechanical design and technical documentation for various equipment in new and existing markets. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed mechanical design in accordance with NOV standards and industry regulations.
- Develop and review production drawings to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including electrical, hydraulic, calculation, controls, and technical safety teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and support general project documentation.
- Engage in technical discussions with workshops, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry requirements.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Extensive relevant experience may be considered as a substitute for formal education.
- Proficiency in CAD systems such as Inventor, Creo, SolidWorks, NX, or AutoCAD.
- Strong mechanical design skills, including knowledge of machine elements, tolerances, and material selection.
- Fluent in English and Norwegian.
Desired:
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Good collaboration and communication skills.
