It has some scratches on the aluminium frame from placing the carrier on the floor. It shouldn't be too visible if one is not turning the carrier upside down to inspect the frame and even less a safety problem.

Kid Comfort 2, compared to Kid Comfort 3, has slightly less storage, slightly less weight, just as versatile.

Ideal for transporting children 1-3 years old.

As a review:

It's really comfy to wear for long hikes and my baby always falls asleep in it. I like the child buckle system, very secure and comfy. Others I tried were restraining the neck and the chest in a way that made me uncomfortable, especially because you can't look back and constantly check a child's position in the pack when you hike. The chin rest/pillow/drool absorber is really nice and easy to wash. It's got foot holds for my little man's hips so his legs don't just bounce and hang without support. And it's versatile for weather, great temperature control for the baby, good airflow with protection from the elements. I did purchase the sun/rain hood as an extra accessory. It's nice to be able to detach it for packing in the car or in the rocket box on top, the Kid Comfort 3 you can't detach the hood. I tried a few other hiking packs out with the baby. Gotta drop some coin for this one but I really think it is superior and a must have for the adventurous family with tiny people. This is a serious piece of backpacking equipment. Like, I can hike for hours with my baby and carry significant gear so my husband doesn't have to take everything for the trip. And it's as comfy if not more so, compared to my regular backpacking gear.
