Join us as our new International Sourcing Project Manager!

In this role you will support international projects involving complex industrial systems, with a focus on mechanical process equipment within Aquaculture. The International Sourcing Project Manager will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of high-quality, cost-effective equipment and materials essential for project success. You will be the communication lead between the Norwegian engineering team and the Chinese suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable contracts. Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
• Work closely with engineering teams to review technical specifications and ensure all procured items meet project requirements and applicable standards
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials
• Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs without compromising on quality, leveraging supplier relationships and market knowledge
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier performance, and project cost tracking. Prepare regular reports for project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Higher technical education within engineering, supply chain management, project management or a related field
• Fluent in Mandarin and good English skills both oral and written. English will be the main working language
• 3-5 years’ experience within procurement/sourcing or supply chain management within industrial engineering or construction
• Experience in managing procurement and/or sourcing for international projects, with an understanding of logistics, customs, and international trade compliance
• Technical understanding of the equipment’s within Aquaculture and RAS is preferable
• Experience with the Asians markets is preferable
