We are searching for a Product Manager - Therapy Products Group at our Stavanger, Norway office in a permanent position.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead a cross-functional Product Team within the Therapy Products Group. Your mission will be to help lead efforts on a portfolio of medical device products. Together with your Product Team, you would be responsible for discovering and delivering products that are desirable, feasible and viable. You would ensure we are consistently able to transform ideas into sustainably profitable business models, aligned with our mission and business objectives.

We are also looking for someone who can embrace a lateral leadership role, guiding the team to achieve their goals.

We are looking for someone mission-driven and a quick learner who can help take our Therapy Products to the next level. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by working across disciplines, teams, and partners as well as having a good understanding about technology and how to apply it to solve complex problems. 

Key Activities

• Continuously discover the customers’ jobs-to-be-done, pains and gains. Incorporate those insights into the Product’s Strategy and translate them into actions
• Define, evolve and champion the product’s vision and strategy
• Communicate the Product Strategy across the company and establish a shared vision with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Together with a team of world-class engineers and designers, lead the ideation and development of impactful products and ensure these are desirable, usable, feasible and viable
• Assess risks and prioritize actions to mitigate them, in a well-structured and data-informed way
• Profit and Loss for your product portfolio and pro-actively seeking new opportunities for impact
• Manage your products’ lifecycle as well as important partnerships
• Set and continuously measure relevant metrics to assess the products’ success
• Contribute to, and foster, a culture of intrapreneurship 

 Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Business, Sciences or Technology related field OR equivalent practical experience. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• 3-8 years working experience, preferably within product management, product development or any equivalent field
• Good understanding and passionate about medical technology and how to apply it to solve complex problems
• Demonstrated understanding of how successful products are designed, developed, and brought to market
• Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of the business, such as engineering, design, finance, marketing and sales
• Driven, adaptable, organized, and excellent time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience working with medical device’s either in product (business or technical) development or in a clinical practice environment
• Ability to identify a market problem, quantify the opportunity to make sure it is big enough to generate profit, and then articulate the problem to the rest of the organization
• Ability to communicate market needs to company leaders and product development colleagues in the form of a product discovery road map / delivery requirement
• Can demonstrate excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to take the initiative to ensure superior outcomes for a given problem that is being solved
