The PRE will have the overall technical responsibility in medium to large projects, and will act as the link between different technical disciplines in given projects. The PRE will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure high quality deliveries.

Projects are received with short deadlines and expectations from clients include high quality and no compromise to safety.

We are looking for candidates in both Stavanger and Bergen.

The key duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Manage preparations and execution of control system projects from concept to completion
• Typical Projects: Studies, Concept Work, Modifications, Upgrades, 3'rd party installations and implementation of new systems.
• Typical Clients; Fixed Platforms, MODU's, Drill ships
• Tender / BID's, Scope of work definition (Project Breakdown / Work Breakdown / Scope Description), Estimation (Cost, Time, Resource) and technical project execution from start to handover
• Participate in vendor visits and factory acceptance tests
• For the right candidate some offshore visits can be applicable, depending on project.

Experience/knowledge:

• Control system experience, preferably from the oil and gas industry
• Commercial mindset and understanding of project control principles
• Experience with project deliveries and key customers' expectations
• Knowledge of the Petroleum industry standards, rules and regulations such as PSA/PTIL, NORSOK, DNV etc.
• Experience with client applications (IFS, SAP, STID, Procosys, PIMS, Aveva) is an advantage

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience within technical project management/engineering related to control systems.
• Engineering degree or recognized technical qualification with relevant experience
