Nammo is seeking a Strategic Supply Chain Manager for our Aerospace Propulsion (AP) Business Unit (BU). In this role, you will collaborate across departments, develop supplier relationships, and enhance supply chain efficiency to ensure long-term business success.

As part of the BU, you will lead key initiatives including REACH compliance, addressing obsolescence, optimizing outsourcing, and managing sub-supplier relationships. This is a full-time, onsite role, with some travel required, offering an opportunity to shape the future of Nammo’s supply chain operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AP’s Supply Chain Strategy in alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
• Lead strategic initiatives such as performance management, make-or-buy decisions, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate across departments to align supply chain practices, share best practices and drive continous improvement.
• Negotiate framework agreements and conduct value analyses for cost and product standardization.
• Introduce sourcing strategies (e.g., category sourcing) and oversee supplier certification and development.
• Partner with suppliers to implement sustainability initiatives, and identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor, analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), project outcomes and ongoing supply chain performance.
• Act as a key liaison between Procurement, Production, and Logistics to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for an experienced and innovative supply chain leader with the ability to align strategy with execution. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, leadership, and collaboration skills, along with excellent communication abilities to work effectively across organizational levels and cultures. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential for success in this role.

You should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience in strategic supply chain roles, preferably within defense or similar industries. Familiarity with Aerospace Propulsion products or related industries is preferred.
• Experience from supplier development, sustainable sourcing strategies, negotiating framework agreements and managing complex supplier relationships is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, onsite position at Raufoss or one of Nammo’s operational locations.
