WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE?
Day-to-day work & projects cooking
As a Fronted Developer in our Advertising Native Products team, our main domain focuses on developing and managing the marketplace’s native advertising products by optimizing the performance and user experience of these products, balancing advertiser needs with user engagement. Together we manage the native ad placements and products, including but not necessarily limited to native ads, sponsored content and retail media.
You focus on developing features that deliver functional, responsive, and content-rich user experiences, ensuring API integrations and efficient data flow. You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, product managers, UX designers, and business developers, to define product requirements and set the technical direction. Your days include contributing to the technical execution of user experiences for sponsored content, participating in code reviews, and ensuring high-quality software solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements. You also take part in technical design meetings, aligning solutions with both technical and business goals, and addressing technical debt to build loosely coupled, scalable systems.
Your chance to make an impact comes also in the shapes of innovation and experimentation: you propose new ideas and solutions for sponsored content that align with business objectives. Lastly, you don’t shy away from potentially mentoring junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
The challenge to turn into an opportunity!
Sponsored content requires a balance of user engagement and business objectives. This role presents the opportunity to shape how advertising integrates seamlessly into marketplaces while learning and experimenting in a supportive environment. Your expertise helps define a modern, scalable approach to sponsored content.
While this role is frontend focused, there will be opportunities to take initiative in the backend solution in the future as well.
Additionally, we are crafting a brand new team as we are currently looking for 2 Frontend Developers, you being one of them. While initially things might not be set in stone in terms of prioritization and projects, this turns into your opportunity to start shaping a team environment from the ground up, under the flag of open communication, shared learning, and creative problem-solving!
