Software Developer Full-Stack

This is an onshore position that can be carried out from our offices in Bergen, Haugesund, Billingstad, or Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

Design, implementation, intergration. and testing of:

• Systems for recording, processing, analysis and quality control of subsea sensor data and image/video data
• Visualization of various sensor data, both in 2D and 3D
• Tools for data acquisition, testing and verification
• Innovative solutions for processing of sensor data and video/image feeds with machine learning algorithms and computer vision
• IoT systems
• Enterprise applications with larger databases

Requirements

We prefer that you have completed higher technical education, but we also acknowledge that extensive relevant experience may make up for this. You must be fluent in English (both oral and written). Further, candidates must be result oriented and efficient team players and meet one or more of the following criteria:

• In depth experience with programming in either Java, Python or C/C++
• In depth knowledge of database architecture, databases and data lakes
• Good JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS knowledge
• Experience with single page applications and web frameworks/libraries such as React
• Experience with IoT systems
• Some knowledge of machine learning and ai
• Familiar with Test-driven development

Other useful experience

In addition to the qualifications listed above, the following additional background and experience will be considered useful in a successful candidate:

• Experience with containerization of applications
• Knowledge of 3D visualization and GIS
• Experience with visualization frameworks like three.js, D3.js, HighCharts, Unity, etc.
• Knowledge of IIoT and MQTT
• Familiar with agile methodologies like SCRUM, Kanban, etc.
• Domain knowledge from the offshore industry
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of dataverse or similar
• Experience with development of cloud-based applications
• Relevant education within mathematics, (geo)physics, or a related field
