We are looking for experienced Payroll Advisor

We are seeking a Payroll Advisor to join our team and contribute to the success of our payroll operations. In this role, you will ensure that payroll expenses and taxes are handled accurately and on time, while also improving and streamlining our automated processes. You’ll collaborate with both internal and external partners to support our organization’s evolving needs.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow up payroll processes from A-Z.
• Act as contact person between our locations and ADP
• Coordinate timekeeping and payroll system
• Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and international policies
• Liaise with auditors and support payroll tax audits
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
• Resolve issues and answer payroll related questions
• Follow up Benefits - Insurance and Pension globally

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years’ proven experience working with payroll from A-Z in Norway. Global Payroll experience would be a benefit but not a requirement
• BSc/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field; professional certification CPM) is a plus, but not a requirement
• Familiarity with payroll software/HRIS (e.g. ADP, Workday)
• Knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws
• Experience working with NAV refunds and sick leave
• Demonstrated knowledge of handling travel expenses, absence and payroll support
• Understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes
• Strong Microsoft 365 and particularly excel skills are a clear advantage

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated by achieving results and attentive to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating with team members and other departments.
• Proficient in English; Norwegian skills are a plus.

Work Location: The payroll team is located in head quarters in Nedre Vats and Haugesund, we are open for applicants from Stavanger or Lysaker Oslo.
