Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for an Environmental Advisor 27244.

 

 

You will play a crucial role in supporting one of the company's main activities. 

You will be responsible for providing expert advice on environmental management, conducting environmental assessments, and ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant environmental standards and regulations.

Job responsibilities:

•    Responsible for follow up of relevant government applications and permits

•    Finalizing project activities within the approved concept

•    Support the ongoing activity phase and prepare for operations

•    Contribute to relevant risk- and chemical assessments

•    Support in government correspondence

•    Provide consulting in energy management and emission reduction

•    Responsible for internal/external follow-up and reporting of relevant environmental parameters

•    Ensure the follow-up and exercise of duty of care in relation to suppliers and rig owners.

 

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Requires relevant higher university degree.

•    Requires typically 5-10 years relevant experience

•    Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards

•    Requires extensive experience related to development of environmental impact assessments.

•    The job requires high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices, company’ s needs and general business conditions.
