We are strengthening our team and are looking for a motivated and driven candidate to lead the "PMO & Business Improvement" area in our GBS organization. This is a new position that will involve enhancing frameworks and structures related to general improvement efforts and program/project management. The role includes leading a team of process and project resources, as well as managing selected projects and/or programs. Our improvement programs are high on the agenda in the Odfjell companies and are central to increasing value creation in the business. The key duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the GBS PMO & Business Improvement function
- Lead the GBS PMO & Business Improvement team
- Manage portfolio of programs and projects
- Lead selected projects and/or programs
- Establish and maintain super user networks across the business areas
Qualifications:
- Preferably Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics & Business Administration, Industrial economics etc.). Bachelor level can be sufficient in case of extensive work experience
- Strong Project management and PMO skills
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience with leading programs and projects with cross functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving, facilitation and analytical skills
- General understanding of key process areas related to Finance, SCM, HR is an advantage
- Organised, able to structure thinking and actions, think strategically, and have a clear practical sense of how to implement strategy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Have a "Can-do' attitude and can make things happen
- Flexible in terms of work tasks
- Fluent in English, written and oral
