Global Business Services (GBS) is Odfjell’s internal provider of services related to Finance, HR, SCM and IT. GBS delivers services to, and in close collaboration with, the three Odfjell companies Odfjell Technology, Odfjell Drilling and Odfjell Oceanwind.  

Job Description

We are strengthening our team and looking for a motivated and driven candidate to lead our ERP and integrated solutions area. This is a new position that involves leading the team responsible for managing and developing the system solutions in GBS. The ERP solutions support process areas within Finance, SCM, HR, Maintenance, and Rental. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee ERP systems and related solutions & projects
• Ensure that ERP and integrated solutions are integrated and aligned with business needs
• Strengthen processes for managing and maintaining ERP and integrated solutions
• Lead ERP and integrated solutions team and provide guidance and direction as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful maintenance and continuous improvement of ERP and integrated solutions
• Establish and maintain frameworks, tools and methodologies for capturing, evaluating, quantifying, specifying and prioritise improvement needs and opportunities
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in ERP systems management and implementation/upgrade
• Strong understanding of business processes and how they are supported by ERP systems
• In-depth knowledge of ERP management including CRIM (Configurations, Reports, Integrations and Modifications)
• Experience with IFS is preferred (but not a requirement)
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and facilitation skills
• Proven experience in managing and leading teams
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Have a "Can-do" attitude and can make things happen
• Flexible in terms of work tasks
• Fluent in English, written and oral
