Software Engineer R&D

Your responsibilities

Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for offshore crane systems using Python and C++

Data Engineering: Implement data pipelines and ETL processes to handle complex datasets efficiently

Interface Design: Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for monitoring and controlling offshore cranes

System Integration: Integrate software components with hardware systems to ensure seamless operation

Code Review: Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions

Your qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python and C++

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages

Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and tools

Experience with interface design and user experience (UX) principles

Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

Additional Skills:

Knowledge of offshore crane systems or similar industrial equipment is a plus

Experience with real-time systems and embedded software development is advantageous
