The Wireline Workshop Operator is responsible for assisting in the preparations, minor maintenance, and logistics of a full range of wireline services required by various clients across Norway and supporting movement of equipment across our Europe team.  This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role within the Wireline Systems Product Line in the Europe Region.

As a Workshop Operator - Wireline, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity performs basic duties at the wellsite and at the shop
• Delivering safe wireline workshop operations and preparation of equipment to ensure valid data acquisition at the wellsite
• Learning about servicing mechanical devices, building logging cableheads, building perforating cableheads and tool maintenance
• Performing minor maintenance of wireline equipment
• Maintaining asset records and communications as required. Responsible for proper job-related paperwork and other records for self and workshop team
• Participating in Duty tasks related to Logistics
• Participating effectively in quality improvement efforts
• Promoting and maintaining good customer relations

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have proven Oil & Gas Industry experience and product line (wireline) training
• Have sound organisational skills with ability to prioritise
• Have sound interpersonal skills with the ability to relate and communicate effectively
• Have experience with working in High pace and High Pressure environments
• Be able to demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail
• Be resilient and driven attitude towards challenges
• Be fluent in English
