Sales Manager

Our sales team is looking for a Sales Manager to work with our highly motivated and engaged MP team. This role involves early engagement with ship owners, designers, operators and yards to position MP as the preferred choice for inert gas solutions. You will work on exciting sales projects, delivering technical and commercial proposals in the sales process, work globally, connecting with our global sales team.

Our Sales Team is a function within MP, responsible for presenting the company’s total scope of products and solutions towards customers.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure familiarization and understanding of customer needs, requirements and operation to proactively offer relevant products and concept solutions.
• Work with technical scope, cost estimation and risk assessment of a tender.
• Review tender documents, prepare and propose quotations to customers.
• Present the technical solution to owners, yards, and designers.
• Technical and strategic support to other sales managers.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Ensure good communication and collaboration within your team and across other MP departments e.g. Aftermarket/Spareparts.
• Collaborate and support local and regional sales personnel.
• International travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics.
• Market-driven mindset and strong maritime industry experience.
• Technical background in systems and system design is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and oral.
